As a pioneer in urban planning, Barry Swenson Builder works to develop and construct sustainable buildings by focussing on increasing the efficiency of resource use in energy, water and materials. This involves reducing building impacts on human health and the environment during the building’s lifecycle, through better siting, design, construction, maintenance, and eventual removal.

As a leader in Transit Oriented Development, natural building (using local materials), and as an active member of the US Green Building Council, Barry Swenson Builder has received numerous sustainability awards, and will continue these efforts by incorporating new green technologies into our future projects.
