Seaport Center
Located on the water overlooking Redwood Creek and the lower San Francisco bay this "Class A" office complex has become the cornerstone of the 'Seaport Center' business park. The architect's nautical themes are echoed in the style of the buildings and unique application of more than 30,000 sf of concrete pavers on the site. The central plaza creates a park like setting accented by a unique sculpture spanning across the space. The project presented some unique construction challenges with the building footprint located less than 50 feet from the waters edge and a garage level more than 2 feet below median tide level. The pile supported concrete and steel framed structure has an external building skin composed of pre-cast concrete panels and aluminum and glass curtain wall systems. The use of high-end materials throughout the building's interior and exterior has created a building of class and distinction.
