Jim began has been working in construction since 1985. He has worked as a project manager since 1997. Jim worked in Chicago and Mexico before he came to California in December of 2000 and began work with Barry Swenson Builder as a project manager, and has been a Senior Project manager since 2004.
Jim has worked on a variety of projects from residential housing to hotels, apartment and townhouse complexes, from tenant improvements to large commercial projects such as a skilled nursing center and university buildings, from small renovations to large historic renovations.
Jim incorporates a team approach, working closely with the owner, designers, construction and sales teams, which permits a smooth and successful project. Jim has the skills to get a project started through budgetary estimating, design coordination, and value engineering. He has the leadership, communication, technical and scheduling skills needed to build a quality project and to keep that project on track. He brings the ability to get the project finished to the client’s satisfaction, completed on time and done within budget.
