Her background includes:

• Managing land acquisitions
• Lease and contract negotiations
• Financing
• Liaison with governmental agencies, neighborhood communities, and client relationships
• Permits and construction/development contracting 

She has focused her career on Transit Oriented Development, for which she has a personal passion.  She has personally entitled approximately 2000 multi-family dwelling units in numerous local jurisdictions all of which have mass transit opportunities within walking distance. Some of her most recent project accomplishments include:

• the entitlement of the Aptos Village site (a mixed use village core in Aptos, CA) 
• development of Phase I of Vendome Place (a four phased, four tower housing site), 
• Tamien Place (a multi-phase condominium project site totaling 242 units) 
• efforts with ongoing negotiations on a mixed use project in Union City located on the Bart line for over 1200 high-rise condominium units.

On a personal note Jessie was born in Santa Clara, CA and raised in Gilroy California.  She began her civic contributions in High School serving in various positions of student government.  In 2004 she got married and ran a Marathon with Team in Training.  In 2005 she and her husband purchased their first home in Gilroy, CA and in 2006 and 2009 she and her spouse welcomed their two children.  In 2008/2009/2010 she is serving as the Vista View Home Owners Association President.  She is an active member of the Rotary Club of San Jose and serves on the Downtown Development Committee and the Event Committee. She serves as a Board Member for the Boys and Girls Club of Silicon Valley.  She is an active member of the local NAMI Chapter, for which she has sponsored a collection site for the NAMI Holiday Gift Project and volunteers for the monthly membership newsletter.    Her hobbies include snow/water skiing, hiking, and Pilates.
