Christy Marbry joined Barry Swenson Builder in 1990. Since joining the team she has gained tremendous experience in residential development and property management. Her experience includes land acquisitions, construction financing, equity financing, lease and contract negotiations, permits and construction contracting. She has worked with many government agencies including the City of San Jose Department of Housing, The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Jose, The County of Santa Clara and the City of San Jose Planning and Building Departments.
Ms. Marbry has been responsible for the development and entitlement of over 3,000 residential units since joining Barry Swenson Builder. Her experience includes apartments, condominiums, high-rise condominiums, townhomes, lofts, mixed use developments and SROs. In addition, she has worked with non-profit agencies to create affordable housing with the use of tax credits, bonds and city financing.
