Downtown San Jose Goes Bowling!

Well there are a lot of exciting things happening in San Jose lately. The San Pedro Urban Market is getting set to open in the near future, we have the prospect of a new A's Stadium ballpark, Little Italy is finally launching their new district at Guadalupe Park, Los Gatos Brewing Company is opening up a 2nd restaurant at the old AP Stumps space, and lastly we are getting a Bowling Alley Downtown!
The Business Journal Recently wrote about this exciting new addition. CIM Group is reportedly close to signing the long-promised lanes to its residential project, The Globe at Second and Santa Clara streets. Harry Mavrogenes, head of the city’s Redevelopment Agency, confirmed that he recently asked the developers what gives and was told that CIM is negotiating with not one, but two operators: Lucky Strike Lanes and Tavern + Bowl.
This project is the ground floor retail space at the Globe Apartments next to New Century Commons, the San Jose Improv (across from the Fountain Alley parking lot).
Either way, this will bring a classy establishment to the downtown core, and increase the momentum San Jose needs to keep up economic growth during our slow economy.

Keep it up San Jose!
